Like my Debt Payoff Report, I took a month off from reporting about my blog. Honestly, I was spending so much time focusing on how much money my blog should be making that I stop focusing on my actual blog. This made blogging seem more like another job instead of a relaxing hobby.

I also wanted to reframe from writing blog post about blogging because my blog was starting to look like a blog about blogging tips. So I made the decision to back away from blog tips posts for a few months. The best decision I ever made.
I also stop focusing so much on Pinterest traffic. I learned in my favorite Facebook group that a lot of people had been experiencing a huge dip in Pinterest traffic. It made me realize that I do not want most of my traffic to come from Pinterest and so I changed my focus to SEO and other social media platforms for traffic.
If you are interested in starting a blog of your own, I created a tutorial that will help you start a blog of your own. By purchasing through my Bluehost link your cost for blog hosting comes at the affordable price of $3.95 a month.

Income Report – Sept
- Amazon: $3.75
- Google Adsense: $2.36
Cleary the amount of income I am making is not enough to do anything with, but it is way more than my first month of blogging. I also stop focusing on affiliate market and started focus on creating good content. I notice the better my content the more likely someone will actually click on my affiliate link.
- Instagram: 239
- Twitter: 127
- Youtube: 402
- Pinterest: 206
I created a Youtube channel for my blog. I have been wanting to do this for forever and finally just did it. I’m very pleased with my short success in the last few months. Currently, I am trying to upload once every one or two weeks. Do not want to say once a week because trying to keep up with work, my part-time job, this blog, and my natural hair channel is already taking a toll on me.
- Switching from HTTP to HTTPS – $42
- New Blog Theme – $30
I cannot believe I’m already in my fifth month of blogging and I have only missed one week of posting. I have to say that is a good five months. I do not have any real goals for my blog besides continuing creating content. I also do not know if I will be making blog income and traffic reports every month. I feel as though I make them when my blog hits a milestone or something. Have not decided just yet.
